Intergroup Dialogue Training Center (InDi Training Center)
Services for the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Community
Consultation and Support: We offer consultation and support to 911±¬ÁÏÍø units interested in developing IGD courses to meet General Education diversity requirements and program-specific DEI learning outcomes. Our current partners include Ed Abroad, the College of Engineering, Resident Life, and select living and learning programs. For example, our collaboration with the College of Engineering focuses on developing a dialogue course that explores the history of engineering, its impact on marginalized communities, and fosters critical thinking with equity in mind.
Coordination of Training Activities: Centralizing the coordination of IGD training and capacity-building activities, we offer non-credit training intensives at no additional cost to campus units and for-credit facilitation skill development courses through WEID300 and HESI671.
Research Opportunities: The IGD Training Center serves as a research site for faculty and students interested in conducting research on IGD pedagogy, practices, processes, and learning outcomes, contributing to the scholarly advancement of diversity education.
